ACCOMODATION
DELUXE
The deluxe rooms are larger than the standard rooms, hence there it is more spacious and the furnishings are also bigger with more room to spare and to move around. Some of the rooms have two beds installed while others have large king size beds. The bathrooms are also larger and more spacious. A safety locker is provided to keep safe your valuables.
DOUBLE
The standard rooms come equipped with comfortable beds, exquisitely clean linen, large spacious windows, a vanity desk with a working coffee table, closets, bedside tables and lamps and are equipped with cable television flatron screens. Rooms are spacious with a little alleyway leading to the larger bedrooms. The bathrooms are hygienic, clean and are equipped with western style bathtubs, EWC and wash basin. Hot water is available at the twist of a hand. The hygiene is given the top most priority. If you need to get online, utilize the hotel’s excellent Wi-Fi services.
DINNING
The restaurant at the Galingkha is located at the ground floor. It is a multi-cuisine restaurant that serves all kinds of dishes from the continental to the exotic. Led by a renowned chef and his team of magicians the food at Galingkha is prepared and served with as much care and hospitality as the hotel was intended to provide. A lovely patio adjacent to the glassed in restaurant gives you, your own space and room even as you enjoy hearing the sights and sounds of the city just around you. A beautiful little Feng Shui waterfall silently dropping in the corner adds a dash of panache. The entrance is also through this patio, further beautified with the traditional Bhutanese gate of welcome that marks the hotel’s entrance. A bar serving all kinds of domestic and international brands of liquor awaits you at the restaurant’s corner.
